miss carriage & and bleeding still

I had a misscarrage @ 9 1/2 weeks. I started spotting brownish red blood but never cramps. So i went in and had a u.s and doctor said no heart beat no baby..Never any cramps or clots @ first. The doctor said I wouldnt need a d&c b/c I wasn't that far along it was up to me.. So I let it take its course for a week  Then stop bleeding for three days and then the following week I bleed for 2 weeks straight wit a bunch of clots and it was bright red... Went in for a check up and he said everything was back to normal and I'd resume my menstrual cycle.. The day after I stopped bleeding for a week and now I'm bleeding again.. First day brown and now 2nd & 3rd day bright red (If this is my menstrual cycle) its not the time its suppose to be.. It came a week early.. Should I be worried doctor says no that it'll take a month or so for things to actually go back to normal.. But I honestly feel like I have bleed so much and totally everything up i really went 4 months without a period b/c before i got pregnante i hadn't had a period for a month.. but i do know the day i got pregnante b/c we hadnt had sex till may 16th and now we're going on aug and bleed for a total of a month but with all this bleeding is it just cause i went so long without a period??  it feels like i'm losing so much blood and the doctor is just brushing me off..

so sorry to hear about your loss, bleeding can be pretty irregular when you miscarry and is different for everyone, my bleeding was stop start after i miscarried too as i recall. See how it goes over the next few days, if it doesn't settle and you think you are still bleeding too much get a second opinion.
