missed miscarriage??

Sooo..here is my situation. I did 3 hpt and they were all positive. i went into my family docs office who then confirmed it was true. I got my first u/s done that day because she was sure i was 6 weeks. according to the u/s i was only 5 weeks and 3 days. so they had me go in a week later for another u/s because the last one was done too early.so the 2 u/s, they said it hasnt grown which was weird but figured it could still be too early. in the meantime i had blood work done as well. i went for the 3rd u/s this past monday (nov.14) and blood work as well. in the mean time i was told my hcg levels went wayy down. so she had me do another blood test monday. she had called me on tuesday and said my levels had risin from 3000 to 4400. so wednesday i had an appointment to see my family doc again to talk about a possible missed miscarriage. i had a blood test done wednesday morning and was supposed to get the results before i went into the doc appointment. she didnt get them back in time. so tuesday she called with my results and my levels had risen again from 4400 to 5000. so i go in for another u/s tomorrow. but also my doc has me goin to a missed miscarriage clinic just incase. i have had no signs of a miscarriage. no bleeding no cramps no nothing. i still have all the symptoms i had when i found out i was pregnant. i should be about 8 weeks right now but my doc said that nothing in the u/s has grown in the last three weeks and she is very concerned. but i of course have my doubts. i dont know what to think. can someone please tell me what it could mean???

you may have been pregnant with twins and lost one but now your other baby is starting to grow? that is a theory that might explain it. just follow docs orders and you should be fine. good luck and congrats.
