more than a month of naturally miscarriage and no period

I naturally miscarriage on 10/21 and started bleeding a lot of 10/24.  Is now 11/27 and haven't gotten my period back.  I know it is too early again by thinking of being pregnant, but i took the hpt this morning and it was negative.   When should the period come after a naturally miscarriage.  Please help, i do want a baby, but i am scare to be pregnant and have another miscarriage.

Your period should return 4-6 weeks after your HCG levels returned to zero.

I didn't get a period again after my miscarriage for around 9 weeks. Hang in there.....and give your body some time to recover from the loss. I got pregnant almost exactly 6 months after I miscarried. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

My m/c messed my cycle up a bit. I got my first cycle after 31 days and the nex after 34 days and I have been a 28 day cycle since I was 11! Goodluck.

I miscarried naturally on the 20th of october and i just got my period back on the 26th of this month,so if you are not pregnant dont worry your period should arrive soon,it could take 4-6weeks.Good luck.

I notced that some of you have had natural miscarriage. I am currently waiting to miscarry naturally, and was wondering how long it took you to miscarry naturally. the baby has stopped growing at around 7 weeks, and I was supposed to be 11 weeks now, but still no sign of miscarriage.

I didn't take very long but had been spotting for 3 weeks before I actually miscarried. I went to the dr about 5 days before I miscarried and he tested my hcg levels. So at the end of those 3 weeks of spotting (6 weeks along) I started to miscarry. I kept being sent from my gp to hospital and back to my gp during the time I was miscarrying. I wanted the whole situation over and was going to request a d&c if they asked even though I had originally wanted to do it naturally. I just wanted it all out so i could move on. Did you want to miscarry naturally? Have they mentioned a d&c at all?

I chose to wait to miscarry naturally. I hear that everyone miscarrys soon after they realize the pregnancy is not viable. I dont know why mine is taking so long. I have appointment with my OB next week, and I am gonna insist that she checks my levels.

I would say that it's common and very normal to have your next predictable cycle be a little bit off by a few days or even weeks.  Since you miscarried early on enough, you should only have to wait out through one good cycle before TTC once again.  Just make sure all is well with your body and hormones before doing so though.  Good luck to you and take care...
