my daughters throat looks really bad

my 3 yr old daughters throat is really red and inflamed it has been like it for several weeks, she has never complained or anything but it looks like her throat is closing im takin her to dr's this afternoon on an emergancy appointment but i was wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar??? x thanks x

It sounds maybe like inflamed tonsils to me.  In bad cases,  the tonsils almost touch each other in the back of the throat,  and usually kids don't complain except they "mouth breathe".

were ok the doctor just said shes got extremely enlarged tonsils and they will go down by themselves gradually but thanks for your concerns x x x

Keep an eye on it - many kids have to have their tonsils removed.  Thankfully,  this is something you can actually look at and see for yourself very clearly what the picture is.
