my infant

Hi, I have a 7month old baby girl that has had a slight chest infection, and now she won't drink her bottle at times. It seems like her throat is sore to swallow so i brought her to the clinic and she had white patches .The nurse gave her pen v for that. what can i do besides that cuz the medication that was given to her will she won't keep it in but will throw it up all out. I really want some advice on that cuz calling for medical advice to the emergency isn't any help at all because they the nurses out there cannot give out any medical information what so ever, so i'm kinda stuck here in this little home town. The nurse also took swabs from her throat as well and that was all done today. She on had 3 4oz bottles of formula only since yesterday and i don't want her to gat dehydrated at all. I am trying everything i can to help her feed.
