nightmare potty training

help, my two and a half year old was using the potty, weeing quite often, and then one day she did a poo, which she was very shocked at, and ever since then she wont do anything on the potty, she will sit on the potty and toilet with no problem, but she wont do a drop in it.
She has started taking her nappy off after she has wet it which lets me think she understands that she has done a wee and its uncomfortable, but i am at my wits end because my other two children never went through this, i know every child is different but i dont know what to do anymore.

You're pushing it a little at 2 1/2, though girls do learn faster than boys.  I'd put her back into diapers without comment and try again in a couple of months.
