by emotionalwreck79, Mar 23, 2008 01:53AM
Finally after almost two years my husband and I finally convieved. I went for an ultrasound at 8 weeks. They did an internal scope and told me that i only appeared to be 6 weeks and could not detect a fetal heartbeat. Should i be terribly concerned about this

I completely understand what you are going through. I'm going through the exact same thing...I had an internal u/s done this past Thursday and my Dr. says that my uterus is measuring about 7 weeks but there was no fetal heartbeat detection. I go back tomorrow morning at 9:30 a.m. to check for a heartbeat...

Don't lose hope :)
