I believe that you can have tuna safely 1x/week.

Here's a good website that explains all about fish intake during pregnancy.

Good luck. It's ok to eat some tuna during pregnancy. This website explains what kinds and how much.

You are allowed to have some kinds of fish, but the list is complex.  There is the mercury problem with ocean fish, the heavy metal pollution problem with some lake fish, and the raw/ bacteria issue for sushi.  Google "eating fish pregnancy" and you will find some reliable lists, just go with the information on ones that come from reliable sources.  They will also answer your tuna question -- I had heard up to three times in two weeks was OK.

I would be careful about tuna.  Five years ago, I ate fresh tuna about twice a week for a year, and my mercury blood levels ended up testing 10 times the normal level.  (My hair started falling out, so they were testing me for all sorts of odd things.)  I was told by the specialist at the time that you really can't know how much mercury is in the tuna you're eating.  He told me not to eat tuna more than once a month if I was planning to conceive in the following three years.  Sorry--I know this wasn't what you wanted to hear!
