ok its been a long time since I've been on the pill

it it the first 7 pills that are just nothing pills to make you get af or the last 7?  I took mine all month and then ran out I am waiting for af and since I thought the first 7 don't matter cuz they are just sugar pills or whatever so you don't get out the habit of taking them I haven't filled my perscription yet.. now I have missed 3 pills and still no af...  so am I wrong?  I am bfing also... so maybe I wont get and af??

The last 7 pills are the sugar pills.  I am not sure about AF and breastfeeding,  I was wondering the same thing.  but i am sure the last 7 pills are the sugar pills.

It's usually the last 5-7 pills in the pack that are the sugar pills.  Every pack is a little different with the amount, but it is usually the end of the pack that has no hormones in them.

The first 7 matter very much.  You are breastfeeding and taking BCP's?  What's the name of the pills?

If you've missed a lot of the first week of pills, you should use condoms until you find out if you are pregnant or not.

Breastfeeding, if you are exclusively breastfeeding and not offering a single bottle or other food, can offer you some protection.  You period may not come at all while breastfeeding, or can be irregular.

But if you've missed several of the active pills in a pill pack, yes, you can become pregnant.

What kind of pills are they?

ok I am taking the mini pill...for use with bfing...  I just called the dr... there are no sugar pills with these.. they are all to be taken and you may not get a period ever while using them.. oopssss they never told me...sooooooo that is that

Its super important then, not to miss a single one.

With the mini pill you have to take them the same time each day.   My Dr warned me
if I didn't take it the same time and if I missed any I could easily become pregnant.
