so we want to take aubree to lake tabis.. which is this really cool safari like park.. they have zebras and giaffes and reptiles.. but do you think she would enjoy that or should we just wait til shes a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys older
I took my son and he was into some of the animals and not other's he preferred it if he got to walk himself. He liked the fish the best =] I agree if it isn't expensive i'd defenitly take her!
We took our little man to the San Diego Zoo when he was about 1.5-2 yrs. and he slept through the whole afternoon and when he wasn't sleeping he was unable to spot the animals. But me and my husband had a great time and James loved his souvenir.
yeah.. its only 10 bucks admission.. so def. not expensive.. im just trying to figure out some things we can with aubree as a family that she would enjoy too
My 5 m old just started paying more attention to our cat and being curious about it walking around and making sounds. I bet Aubree will enjoy some of the animals although probably not all.
i started taking DD to local places (zoos, farms, etc...) when she was only a few months old. Granted, it was more for the grown-up interaction with the other moms i went with, but i feel it's good to get them out and about. She didn't notice the smaller animals hiding, but could see the larger ones. By one, she definitely enjoyed the bigger animals at these places. And she was used to going to places like this. If it's cheap and would make a nice family trip, I say do it- especially since she is 1. She's old enough to start learning animal sounds and names, and what better way to teach her. Just keep the trip relatively short, and watch for signs of tiredness or overstimualtion.
Jillian went to the zoo for the first time when she was about 3.5 months old - but only because of a work function we had there. She slept thru most of the day! We went back on Mother's Day (11 months) and now have annual passes - our zoo has a kids area with a petting zoo and water area, so she loves that part. She likes to look at the animals but still does usually nap a little in the stroller and then perks up again at the water part. She is getting better at the petting zoo but still not so much interested in actually petting the animals!
they do have memories you know,, my friend and i took her one year old son to the sea life centre n he loved it more than me!!! he oved all the fishes n things swimming around you could just tell btw he was touching the glass n tryna grab them lol :)
we took her yesterday and it went over pretty well.. some of the animals she was interested in and others she wasn't.. she loved the minature horses... and the monkeys that were swinging on their swings.. she hated and cried when we saw the lions.. ( they were roaring)... she liked the bear cubs.. and she even fed a zebra.. so it was a fun ( but hot and tiring) day.. i got a major sunburn and her face got sun burnt so shes a bit cranky today ( we both are)..
If it isn't expensive, I say go for it!
