only one tube, irregular periods...

I only have one tube and 2 ovaries, I have never wanted anything more than to be a mother to at least ONE child BUT the one time I conceived I lost the baby due to a tubal pregnancy, resulting in the loss of the baby and the tube... I have very irregular periods since the surgery , it started with once every 3 months, now I will go 4 to 5 months with no period... I recently had unprotected sex, and had no signs of getting my period before hand but 4 days after, I started spotting light pink/brown. then, had very heavy bleeding for 5 days, (my periods never last longer than 3 days!) so I am very confused, I do not believe I am pregnant, but there is always that possibility, BUT i wanted to know how many of you have lost a tube and been able to have a healthy baby?! I've really lost hope....
