Good morning ladies! it looks to be another beautiful day here in Washington....which is odd! :)

it's weird, california is getting all the weather we usually get this time of year and we are getting their weather.
i hate to say it but our mountain snow packs would like their weather back.

Mornin'!

I'm decompressing today from stress.  Just doing laundry, baking, housecleaning, playing with the dogs.

To: Everyone - HELP WITH THE FLU
My DD, DH, and I all came down with the stomach flu yesterday.  I feel much better today other than feeling really tired and weak and still have the diarreha (puking has stopped thank God) my question is can I take anything for the diarreah???  I am breastfeeding and do not know what is safe.  My DH did go out and get some pepto bismal tablets and was wondering if I can take those.  So far I do not think my baby got this.  He spit up a bit yesterday and had a few watery seedy stools but I do not know if that was just breastfed poopies or if he had a slight touch of the flu.  Well any help would be appreciated.  I am hoping to be back to my old self in another day or two.  Thanks again.

Here's a list of commonly used drugs that are considered safe to use with breastfeeding.

Remember, though--a certain amount of diarrhea is your body's way of cleaning out your system and should be treated simply by rest and clear liquids in small frequent amounts.

Sounds like yours is more severe, though.  I wouldn't hesitate to use Immodium if it is continuing.  If you keep vomiting or symptoms don't improve soon, call your doctor.

I don't know about taking pepto bismol while breastfeeding, but I know I was told not to take it while pregnant.

Thankyou for the advice on the rash!!!
I read the nappy rash cream that I use and like yours it sounded like it would be safe so now after applying it 3 or 4 times the rash is so much better, it has really dried up.  By the way when was your 3.5 year old born?

To: Everyone - My baby finally rolled over
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  My little guy finally rolled over one way.   He went from his back to tummy.  I think he gets mad then because he can't roll back yet and he loves to sit up.  I just had to share because I posted a while ago that I was worried that he had not rolled yet since he is going to be 6 months old in a week.   Take Care

Also thank you for the med suggestions.  I think I am ok now.  I am just really achy now.  I keep getting this terrible pain in the right side of my head.  Otherwise I feel ok.  Thanks again.

Okay Christie........I got one for ya (or for anyone else out there)

Ya'll were talking about implantation bleeding.......
I read your answer about only being one day but about early pregnancy bleeding for any number of reasons........

I am currently 7 weeks 5 days according to my LMP.......My question is......how much of a chance is there that I am actually farther along than I am thinking or according to my LMP......
I had what I thought was a normal period starting on January 10th.
My problem is that I think I have felt the baby move......
Now......now........I know it is impossible at my stage of pregnancy but I am not a first time mom that does not know what movement feels like......I honestly do not think it was "gas bubbles" as that does have a different feel to it......first I felt "flutters" and then later when I was driving I felt the "bump....bump"........
I have no idea!!!!!!
And I know my doctors don't usually do an ultrasound until around week 20. They even told me straight away that they didn't want to see me until I was between 11 and 12 weeks because that is when they can "hear" the heartbeat........which tells me that they are just going to use the doppler and not an u/s machine.
Should I voice my concerns about this and see if they will do an u/s to see forsure? Or just let it be for now???
Thanks for any advice or info you give me.......
