pain 4 weeks after c section

pain 4 weeks after c section

I had a c-section 4 weeks ago (to a healthy baby girl!)  Per my doctor I was to resume normal activities last week, which I did, but I'm still not pushing myself.  Anyway, earlier this week I started having pain above my incision on my right side.  I don't know if this is normal or not - did I just pull something or should I be concerned?  Has anyone else had pain come back after so long?  I have another dr appt next week, but wanted to see if anyone had any feedback.

Thanks!

Mine was like that on the left side for over 6 weeks, I couldn't lift my 28lb 3 year old until about 6 weeks without feeling it pull, I am 4 months poat partum now and it has been absolutley fine for weeks now.

i dont remember other than my insicion site became infected, but it could have been much earlier than 4 weeks. make sure it isnt red or puffy or hot. you will notice odd things as it starts to heal and nerves reattach. my upper thigh was numb for a long time after, then all of a sudden it tingled and "woke" up!!
