pain due to haematoma after haemorage and hysterctomy after birth

I had my baby 19mths ago.  I have been told by GP that the haemotoma will eventually disolve, as it is behind my bladder it will be difficult to remove, or so I am told.  I have occational bleeding, especially if I have intercourse, so I tend to avoid this.  Not great for marriage.  Just recently I have extreme back ache and pain on one side of my c-section scar.  I feel sick most of the time, am washed out, and living on pain relief for the last two weeks.  I am seeing my GP tomorrow, but would appreciate any input.

Thanks

Hi!
If there was a hematoma, it has probably not dissolved. Other than this severe pain can be due to some parts of placenta being retained, or even due to infection.
The various causes for vaginal bleeding after sex are injury and friction, STDs like Chlamydia, gonorrhea, and trichomoniasis, cervical polyps, yeast infections, non specific vaginitis, endometriosis, cervical dysplasia which is a precancerous condition, uterine polyps, uterine fibroids and cervicitis (inflammation of cervix).
Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your gynecologist once and get the required tests like internal examination, PAP smear, vaginal swab test for STD, and ultrasound. Take care!
