pains after d&c

okay, i had a d&c on thursday of last wk and had pretty much the pain im sure yur sopposed to have. but then the nxt couple of days i had really really bad pains. and for the past few nights i have been having bad sharp pains inside and dnt understand why. i have been bleeding since i had it done, its pretty bad. its almost been aweek, im still bleeding and in really bad pain. and its also maken me have lots of hot flashes. i havent talk ta my doctor yet but i will soon. thank you.

Well, the bleeding is most likely normal.  I bled for about 2 weeks after my D&C.  I don't think the pain is normal though.  Have you tried taking any pain medications?  I'm not sure if they gave you any prescription pain meds, but even some over the counter motrin would help.  If it is severe pain, and pain meds don't help then you really need to contact your doctor.  I am pretty sure my pain only lasted a couple of days, with each day getting better.  A week out you shouldn't be experiencing this much pain.
