passed 1-hr glucose

passed 1-hr glucose

thankfully, came in with a value of 116. was fully expecting to fail it, as my blood sugar before getting pregnant was also about 116. dont know if this will help anyone but i fasted the night before and did the test first thing in the morning, then drank some water and walked around for most of the hour while waiting. i was told these things would help if you were going to test borderline.. though of course if you're truly diabetic, it wouldnt have helped (which is good... you want to be diagnosed if its really a problem)

congrats on passing. They are going to have to monitor my sugar like crazy. I go thrusday to find out how far a long I am. I go between borderline diabetic type 2 and hypoglycemia. I have a blood glucose monitor to check mine in the morning to keep it level. Good luck on the rest of the tests.

i ended up failing my 1 hour glucose test and i also fasted before that and then with the 3 hour one my fasting level came back high and so did one other level but the rest of my levels were normal so i was told to just watch my sugar and carb intake and i have a monitor to measure my glucose levels so far the did seems to have worked.
