pelvic pain can anyone help?

pelvic pain can anyone help?

I am unable to walk or roll from one side to another in bed. I am having pelvic pain, it is like sharp pain in my pelvic bones when I walk, couple days ago I had a sharp pain in my lower back and it was in my leg too, I wasn't able to walk  either. now my pain is in the front on those too bones joining my legs, you know what do I mean? I am 33 weeks almost, I called the doctor and he said they can't do anything but he want me to go to labor and delivery to get checked. do you think I should?
I have been resting all day, I did not even go to work. did any one have pelvic pain and know what to do about it? thank you.

If the doctor told you to, then you should do it.

It may be nothing, but you should do what he wants you to do, just in case.

I know that the baby is moving good because I am doing kick count, and I am supposed to go tomorrow for NST, I go twice a week, it is just a pain to go there sit for 3 hours and tehn they will tell me there is nothing they can do.

im sorry your experiencing this. i know exactly how you feel. had the same thing starting around the same time as you. it felt like someone was ripping my legs off at the joints where they connect to your pelvic area. walking, turning in bed, even just sitting up in bed was painful. i had complained to my dr, and she said there was nothing to take or do to stop the pain. good part is that it eased up within a week, and went away after a few weeks. hope you feel better soon!

I had the same thing... started at 16 weeks. The condition is called symphis pubis dysfunction. It was so painful and horrible. I went to physical therapy and wore a pelvic support belt. I also had a walker, but I had an extreme case. Talk to your doc about physical therapy, I think it helped me. Try to sleep in a right or left tilt (not on your side, but not on your back) propped with pillows. Also if you have a vaginal del, be careful what position you deliver in as delivery can excacerbate it. Also be careful not to do anything that stretches those ligaments.  My pain got better about 8 weeks postpartum. I am scared to get pregnant again because it was so painful. Occasionally I will have pain now, but pretty much all better now (10 months pp).

thank you for your comments, I think this the tax we have to pay for being pregnant. I am trying to rest as much as possible, but walking and being a little bit active seems to be more helpful.

Wow, I had that sharp pain in my pelvis, like it was being ripped apart.  My Dr. had told me to get a brace too since I had to work on my feet all day.  I also had pain from scar tissue and varicose veins, by about 20 weeks it got pretty uncomfortable.  I could not handle anything touching so close, so I didn't do it.  I did have to be careful about changing positions and as weird as it sounds, I would usually take my lunch break standing because if I sat and then had to get up it was worse.  I think it was around 35 weeks on that I was in a fair amount of pain and could not get comfortable.  I would follow the Dr.'s orders though and go in.  I holpe you feel better.
