percocet and pregnancy

Me and my husband are wanting to conceive our third child but i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a little over a year ago and have been on percocet and soma (which is a muscle relaxer) and we are both worried that it may harm the baby. I ended up in the hospital 3 months pregnant with my first son for kidney infection and was given both percocet and morphine and he is fine but that wasn't a long term thing so i am just looking for some advice...

Hey, I'm 8 months pregnant and I too have fibromyalgia, i have been suffering with that since I was 11. I have been taking percocet for the extream pain (like 1 wk out of the month 3-4 a day). My ob has said that my pain management doctor should switch me too hydrocodine instead but nothing has changed. I would think if it was honestly harmful they would ask you to stop completly. The somas I'm sure are the same. I would just ween myself in the last month so the baby doesn't have a born addiction.

Hey im 10 weeks pregnant and i have severe back pain (since i was 14) well its been so nad that i cant sit stand walk or lay down without being in pain. It even takes my breath away. i talk to my doc and she told me lortab and darvocet are two safe meds to take while preg. So she prescribed me lortab for the pain. she said i had nothing to worry about. i dont really take it unless i absolutely have to.
