I had a M/C in March and had a D&C done on the 28th.
Just like always 30 days later I had my period. It was full 7 days and nothing different about it from anyother ones.
Is it possible to have one normalNormal saline flush cycle after a D&C and then not get one the next month?
I am not on any medicatins or birth controlControl Control rx and have not been for over 8 months.
I know that when I stress about my period it sometimes is a day or two late but it has never been 8 days late before.
I have always gotten a posative test result right away with both my other pregnacies.
not to get your hopes up but every pregnancy is different, some may show up straight away other might not. you may just be really stressed and your causing your period to be delayed. if it doesnt show soon go and see your doctor get bloodwork done if thats negative you might need something to jump start your period.
Thanks so much for your kind words, I ended up getting my period later that day!
We are going to give it a real good try this time and hopefully we will get prego :)
On the other side, I got pregnant again in January 2006 and I missed my period but didn't get a pos test result until 2 weeks after I missed my period. After all the hcg tests and u/s, we figured that I actually conceived on the day I should have gotten AF. There are lots of things that can happen: ovulating late or stressing too much. Just remember that after a D&C it can take your body a few months to get back on a normal track again. Good luck to you.
