periods after injection

periods after injection

hi can anoyone answer this for me? I came off the contraceptive injection over a year ago and still havent had a period can you still get pregnant if you havent had a period for this long?

We ovulate first, then about 14 days later our period usually arrives.  So it is possible to get pregnant now, although it sounds like you have not ovulated yet since getting off the Depo shot.  You really need to see your Dr.  He can give you prometrium to induce ovulation and make you menstrate again. This will help regulate your cycle again.  Sometimes after getting off of a hormonal form of birth control it can take our bodies awhile to get back to normal, and we need a little extra help.  Good luck to you
