my 6 month old has had diariah for 5 days and now has mucus with it..what do i do

Go to the ER, an infant with diarrhea for an extended amount of time is at serious risk. Doctor's need to take a look and see what can be done for the baby to stop what's causing his diarrhea and to replace nutrients and liquids he/she's lost.

Are you nursing? have you tried any new foods?  Mucus can be a sign of an allergy. I would call the pediatrician and make sure the little one's well hydrated!
