poor memory

my brother just got out from a drug rehab. he's having a difficulty  on remembering things, and a noticiable poor grasp on things. he's back at skul now and i will do anything to help him get back on track............he used to be on top of his class....pls help

Unfortunatley that happens with drug abusers.  My father is a drug addict and through the years his memory has depleated to almost nothing.  he doesnt even remember mine and my sister birthdays... and he has a hard time catching onto concepts and he rambles alot about nothing.   If you want to help your brother you just need to support him emotionally and help him to stay off the drugs.. and you will just have to ride out the emotional roller coaster with him.  Best of luck

I know how you feel my brother was an addict.We tried our hardest to help but nothing ,till one day he hit rock bottom nobody would give him money and closed their doors to him.He lost his family & decided on his own to seek help.He would also forget things,was very perinoid and would talk about suicide.He is clean now & all we can do is be there.With our love & exceptance.Just be their for him.Have patience & good luck. lol nanis
