This happens to millions of women across the world everyday.  She must stop taking the pills now, and seek prenatal care from her ob/gyn as soon as he'll get her in.  She should also immediately begin taking prenatal vitamins if she hasn't already.  The baby should be fine.

I was on the pill for the first 5 weeks of pregnancy due to not knowing I was pregnant.  I even went to the dr. and they told me I wasn't pregnant.  He told me to keep taking the pill if I didn't want to become pregnant, and 2 weeks later, I found out I really was pregnant!  When I had an u/s one week later, I was 6 weeks along!  I changed drs, and now I have a healthy 2 year old boy!
