pregnancy bleeding! please help

Hi, I'm 19 and 6 weeks pregnant with my first. I started having really light spotting on Tuesday and by today, thursday it got really heavy and bright red with extremely painful cramps. Yet by Thursday night it'd gone light again to a pinky colour with cramping still but not as bad. I went for an ultrasound but they said after recieving my blood results they wouldnt expect to see anything due to how early it is. Im convinced I've miscarried but I'm scheduled in Saturday morning for follow up bloods. I'm hoping for the answer I want but I really don't want to set myself up for disappointment. Has anyone experienced these symptoms? if so, how did it end? Thoughts are with all who have lost their little one

Do you still "feel pregnant"?  Are your breasts really sore and tender,  do you have nausea?  Did you ever "feel pregnant"?

Theyre not as sore as they were which worries me. I did feel pregnant but in a way I still line of do now. I guess thats just wishful thinking though. I haven't passed any big clots or anything but the pain has eased of loads today! Back in tomorrow morning so fingers crossed but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Some people have bleeding and are still pregnant afterwards.  I had bleeding like that and miscarried.  However, I lost all symptoms just prior to the bleeding.  It was particularly noticeable that my breasts were no longer sore, at all, so that part sounds positive to me.  Good luck.

I'm convinced I've lost it. I obviously don't want that to be the case but ive said from the start I was going to lose it. Sounds aweful but I got pregnant on the first try when i didnt think i could. I never thought I deserved it.

Also, today the bleeding looks like old brownish red blood. Don't know what that could mean.

Did you pass anything other than blood, any tissue or clots? Pregnancy symptoms dont tell you anything for the viability of your pregnancy as its from hormones and even in the case of a MC occuring woman can still have enough hormones in their system to cause the symptoms(after the MC)... so that like i said means nothing, plus your farther along where syptoms (symptoms) tend to back off a bit anyway... if the blood is looking old it could mean the bleeding has stopped, and there are other reasons why bleeding could occur that doesnt mean a MC is gonna happen, i would wait to see what the follow up appointment brings... at your ultrasound how was baby doing? moving lots, heartbeat level, ect?

It was too early to see anything on the us but they said that was normal given my hcg count. There was some bits but only extremely small. I hardly noticed. I'm back in for follow up bloods in the morning. They're looking to see if my hcg levels have gone down or what. Hopefully not but I have no hope. I have a feeling I've miscarried but I just dont want to hear it for definite.

I am so sorry for your loss...I too just lost my baby at 13 weeks, on Christmas day! Hang in there...don't be afraid to mourn your loss. It was really hard to get my life going after I lost my baby, but my family and friends kept me afloat. Each day that passes, I seem to get stronger inside. Voice out your feelings to your partner, it helps a lot to talk about it. Good luck, and don't give up...we are trying again. However long it takes!
