pregnant after tubes tied, burnt and cut.

Hi I am 22 years old with two small children. I got my tubes cut, tied and burnt thinking that was the best option for me. Well now I am regreting extremely. I want to have another child in the future, But i was wondering if that was even possible now. I just had the surgery in Oct of 2008. Is there any hope for me?

You'll have to consult with a gynecologist who can give you the best advice about your options.
Basically, you will either have to have a surgery called a tubal reanastomosis, or have IVF.

I'm not sure what the percentages of chances with one vs another is.  A doctor who knows your history would be able to give you the best idea as to how to proceed.

I will say that you should spend a lot of time going over in your head, exactly how you felt when you made the decision to have your tubes tied.  What thinking went into it?  I'm sure you made the decision after a lot of careful, rational thought.

What has changed to make you want to do this?  Be sure its not simple "baby longing" or missing the infant years.  Those are gone in a flash, and you're left with the realities of financially providing for another child, medical care, food, clothing, school, and all the time and attention and emotional needs another child adds to the family dynamics.   Be very sure you are rationally wanting to commit to raising another child for 18 or more years, and not just missing having a baby.
