pregnant with twins no heart beat at 5 weeks 1 day

Hey I found out two days ago that I'm pregnant with twins and I had a ultrasound done and all you could see in the ultrasound where two sacks but no heart beat nothing I'm only 5 weeks 1 day pregnant my obgyn told me that if there's no heart beat in another week that I'm going to loose them and that it would be up to me to choose a abortion or just let them go naturally but I feel like that's not right I really want someones opinion I want to know is it common not to have a heart beat at 5 weeks pregnant I really want to know I'm very scared and this is my first time ever being pregnant :-(

The heart begins to beat early in your 5th week counted from the first day of your last period.  Having an ultrasound in your 5th week is iffy, since it could just be a day or two too early and you won't see what you want to see.  (My doctor won't do them until week 7 because he says it just freaks everyone out unnecessarily.)  You could well just be too early.  Try to relax; you could stress yourself out for no reason.  Take your doctor's advice and go in for another ultrasound in a week or two.  Good luck!

its actually really common. but with twins mim not so sure. But just pray and leave it in gods hands. ill pray for your womb and your lil "peanuts" congrats
