progesterone level low

by maggie jean, Aug 31, 2007 09:56PM
Hi I'am 7weeks pregnant and I have had 3 blood draws. The second one I had showed my hcg doubled but, my progesterone went down. They put me on oral pregesterone, and I had my third draw yesterday. Again my hcg doubled to 64,000 but progesterone went down to 10

what did your OB say?

They might want to change you to a progesterone suppository or a progesterone shot if they think it will help.

Yeah, I say change to suppositories ASAP!!  My progesterone went from 20 to 16 to 11.. after suppositories it went up to 39.  I am over 13wks pg now so it all worked out.

best of luck to you.
