pubic bone pain

pubic bone pain

Hello everyone.  I have a question regarding pain in the top part of my vagina.  I am 36 weeks and told my doctor about it.  She is testing my urine, actually last Friday, but said that is is normal.  i read that it is normal, but I just want to know if anyone else is feeling this pain?  Not to be gross but sometimes it feels like someone is pulling my pubic hairs out!!!  LOL!!!!   Alot of pressure when I get up at night to pee.  Not peeing itself, but that movement to get out of the bed.  Anyone else have any of this going on???  Thanks for your help.

I had terrible pain in my pubic bone with both of my last pregnancies.  I was told the second time around that it was possibly arthritis and I started getting the pains about 6 months.  On my first pregnancy it didn't start until the last month.  There isn't much you can do about it but it goes away as soon as the babies born so that's good!  Good luck!

ive been having that pain for almost a month now. im 36w4d. it does seem to be more painful after laying down, or sitting for a period of time, and then getting up. it makes walking so hard. sort of like a achy, very sore, lots of pressure/stretching feeling in the pubic area. according to everyone, including the dr, its normal. i think it may have something to do with the baby dropping also. everyone says i seem to be carrying lower. good luck, not much further to go.

Yep, I had it too with both of mine.  It was only bad the last month the first time around, but started earlier the second time around and was even worse.  It's your pelvis opening up and getting ready I bet.  I would get sharp almost stinging pains at the end and changing positions made it worse, so I tried not to sit down on my lunch break as it would bring tears to my eyes.  After delivery it was fine.  Just part of the end of pregnancy to make ya welcome labor.  Take some Tylenol to ease some of the pain and I found warm showers helped some, not much else to do but try to stay comfy.  Good luck and congrats!
