question about BBT

I ovulated on 7/20 did the deed on 7/18 i havn't been checking my bbt prior to yesterday so i don;t know whats normal for me but on 4dpo and 5dpo i had cramps and a dull back pain along with creamy milky cm as well as today could it be implantation? the other thing i notice was that my uterus is still high and there is an opening is this normal?  don't know. Took my temp first think this morning and it was 97.9 is this normal or high? i will keep checking to see if it goes up or down. but i want to know what should it be if i am implanting or pregnant. any advise?

with one temp its hard to say.... once you've ovulated it usually goes high (98-99) and stays there if the implantation was a success. keep temping and see what the trend is. good luck!

everyone is different, and that's why it's good to do you temps before you ovulate.  97.9 could be high for you, so it's pretty tough to answer.  good luck!

i am also due on the 4th i ovulated last thursday had cramps and cm was right i will let you know of my status keep me informed of yours. baby dust to you too!!!!

ps today didn't have any symptoms except i think i am getting a cold woke up all stuffy. i begining to think it didnt take.

wow,I had to keep looking to make sure that was not my name posting that question because the exact same thing happened to me. And I am still confused because yesterdays temp was 98.2 and this morning was 97.9, I am not due for AF until the 4th or 5th of August. I think I ovulated a week ago Monday (the 17?) but on Thursday I had cramping in my low back and AF cramps, no cm so I don't think I was ovulating then. Anyway, please keep posting because I would love to know if you get a BFP! Baby dust to ya!

I have been tracking my temp all month and I'm now 5w2d.  You really need to track your temp starting with the first day of AF.  You really can't tell anything by not taking your temp all along.  97.9 is normal/low to me.  I was at 98.5 after I O.  I knew when it was time for my AF and my temp stayed high, I knew I was preggo.

Your temp can also drop when the egg implants, mine did.

Also, being stuff is a sign of pregnancy too.
