reverse tubal

by crossing my fingers, Sep 13, 2007 05:55PM
I was looking on a website about reverse tubals and the different types of tubal ligation.  It just so happens that my dr cauterized my tubes which doesnt look good for me getting that reversed already.  But I also read where if there were multiple burns that lessened the chance of reversal even more...i was looking thru my operative report and my dr wrote that ...using a multiple burn technique a 3-4 segment of the tube was throughly cauterized.  So does this mean that he burned my tube in multiple places?  I have called a fertility specialist and faxed them over my report but they are taking their time answering me and I am anxious

I am not sure if your question was already answered. But cautery is a very common tubal ligation, and it is normal for them to be burned in multiple times, but normally they are very conservative and burned multiple times in a 1cm or less portion.

Please check out the following website to see if it can help answer your questions, a Tubal Ligation Reversal is not completely out of the question for you, and it is a more reasonably priced option than IVF, and unlike IVF a Tubal Ligation Reversal will let you have the ability to have multiple pregnancies if you desire.

www.PregnantAgain.com

That is the website for Lakeshore Surgical Center, they are the best facility in the country that specializes only in Tubal Ligation Reversals, so you don't have to worry, as with other facilities that you will be pushed to spend $25,000 or more on multiple IVF cycles.

The surgeons at Lakeshore Surgical Center have been recognized for their new advancements in Tubal Ligation Reversals.

If you decide this is a solution that interests you, call the office and they will help you find out if your Tubal Ligation is reversible or not, with no commitment or charge.

Hope this helps. =)
