rh- and miscarriage

rh- and miscarriage

I am 27 with Graves diease, B- blood and have 2 healthy boys, 7 and 1 yr.  Since my 1 yrs old, I have been trying to get pregnant.  I got pregnant in January and 13 weeks later miscarried at home.  I didnt get the rhogram shot.  In July I got l pregnant again, and 12 weeks later, miscarried again.  I didn't get the rhogram shot again.  This totally slipped my mind.  My mother brought it to my attention today and now I am totally freaked out.  I guess my questions are:  Can I still get the shot 9 weeks after the miscarriage? I still have breast milk?  is that making me miscarriage? Is it in my best interest to get the shot?  If I get pregnant again, is it true I will miscarry or have a still birth full term?  9-1-08 I had the worst period ever.  I was an emotional wreck.  I sleept 16+ hours a day.  One minute I would be laughing, next crying, and next a raging *****.  I was very distant and rude, mean , "loveless" to my husband.  Next anxiety kicked in real bad.  Whats going on?  Any advise will really help.  ......oh ya one more question,  this might sound stupid.....I read that rh- women and only birth male babies?  is this true?

Okay...lots of questions.  I'm rh- too and have 2 girls and a boy, so no that doesn't mean just boys.  I'm pretty sure that having the injection 9 weeks after the m/c isn't going to take effect b/c it's supposed to be w/in 48 hrs of bleeding.  My DD is 11 weeks old and before her, I had 2 m/c....AFTER I had 2 healthy babies and receiving the injection....so I don't think that not getting the injection is causing your m/c b/c it wasn't the cause of mine.  BUT...you need to see your dr!  It sounds like you've got lots of other issues that you need to discuss w/ a professional...and then also ask them about the rh injections.  Best of luck and keep us posted!

I agree with momof32b, you need to see your dr. Did you see your dr after your last two miscarriages? If you did, they should have given you the RhoGam. Even if you did get the shot now, its pointless. Since you didn't take one after the first miscarriage anyway. I would get in to see your dr and discuss all your issues and get more information about being rh- and pregnancy. I am also B- and I have a boy. BUT the sex of the baby is determined by the sperm, not the egg. Good luck.
