Safe sex is when you are using a condom or other form of birth control, both before and after menstruation or at any time in your cycle. If you are asking when you ovulate so that you don't get pregnant, every woman is different. Typically, with a 28 day cycle, you ovulate on day 14. But, every woman and every cycle is different and some women can even get pregnant while menstruating. I wouldn't take the chance. If you are trying not to get pregnant, you should be using condoms or reliable birth control. If you are not in a monogamous relationship the condoms will provide protection against STD's. If you are, birth control will prevent pregnancy regardless of when it's safe or not.

safe sex is with a condom......and really there is no safe time during your cycle some women get pregnant during their periods some after and some right before.
