scar tissue pain? post c section

by pertykitty, Jan 21, 2009 11:42PM
i have had 2 c sections, the first over 10 yrs ago and addisons 14 months.  i have such pain lately in the scar tissue is that something anyone else feels?  what did your dr do about it?  lately i feel as though im falling apart and i need to make time for dr appts but i always put myself last darn it.  it could be something else like endo because i have pain all around front sides and back!  i just die every month from the time i ovulate till my af is over.  i get a decent week and half a month i guess.  im guessing the only thing is to do a lap and scrape out some of the scar tissue, i want to hear from any moms that experienced this.

You are having a lot of trouble right now, aren't you? :(  I had a C section 1 year ago and my scar still feels numb when I touch it.  My doc said it might be like that forever.  Is this a new pain or has it felt like that since the beginning?  You should definitely mention it to your doc, hopefully s/he can help you get to the source of the pain and offer you some relief!

That's terrible. I have had 2 , 19mo's apart. I remember when I got pregnant w/#2 I felt pain in the scar area but other than that no real "pain". I would make an appt. too!

Sounds more like endometriosis.  I think the scar might possibly still be sore at the end where they knotted the thread, but a c-section would not still give you general and prolonged pain, especially if it has a monthly rhythm.  Time to see a good ob-gyn, maybe someone who specializes in endometriosis work by laparoscopy and laser.   Good luck, sweetie!
