scared, brown spotting

i am 8w2d pregnant, and about a week ago woke up went pee and noticed a bit of red blood with a clot in it scared me very badly, that day i had an ultra sound, and every thing was fine, i was even lucky enough to see the heart beat! after the first blood i saw it was just brown on the tp, the next day it was gone. now i have lite brown spotting again over a week later. and i am very very scared this is my first pregnancy, it seems i keep reading about m/c and i know the threat for that. i just really need to hear some other more positive reasuring reasons, if anyone has any explanation besides m/c please help!!!

i have heard that brown blood is old blood so it could have been from a while ago and its just now coming out good luck

I know how you're feeling. I spotted at 6 weeks and 8.5 weeks. First time was browinish, 2nd time was red like a period. Both times I had u/s and everything was fine. It stopped eventually and now I am 19 weeks and doing fine. The standard response from the doc's is that spotting/bleeding is considered normal now. As long as you don't have painful cramps or fill more than a maxi pad every hour. Good luck and don't forget to post a follow up when everything is okay...cuz I know it will be! God bless.

I am 11 weeks today...I found out at 4 weeks that I was preg.  I have spotted since the day I took the test.  I have had 7 u/s!!!!   The baby is fine and they still don't have an explanation for me.  Also i have spotted every color...brown, pink, brick red and this week it was bright red..left work, got checked, baby is fine.  I think you are too especially after you have seen your peanuts heart beating away.  wasn't that amazing!!!   Try not to worry.  I have had 2 m/c before this and I thought for sure this was number 3.   keep us posted

I spotted weeks 5-6-7 and 13, but my little darling in fine. I'm currently 18w6d pregnant and all is well. Sometimes it just happens and no one know why. Godd luck, i hope all works out well for you.
