shooting ankle pain during last month(s) od pregnancy

I am 36 weeks pregnant and the past 2-3 weeks i have been randomly (while siting, standing, laying) getting this shooting pain on the inside of my ankle (between the ball and achillies tendon. It will last sometimes only a second, or 30. Latley it has been getting worse and more frequent. I have not had any tests yet, please help me before i do!)

There are all kinds of odd pains near the end of your pregnancy --you could certainly  go and get it checked out.  The extra weight on your body, and all of the changes cause strange things to happen.  With me, my feet deteriorated after I had my daughter.  I broke two toes and developed something called a Halix Rigidis.  NEVER had trouble with my feet before in my life.  If it is really bad, you could go and have it x-rayed-.  Good Luck.
