should I take progesterone with clomid????

I do not get a period because I don't produce progesterone. I will take provera 3 times a month to bring down a period. I am now going to take clomid to get pregnant. I was under the assumption from my old OBGYNE that I would have to take progesterone to keep from miscarriage. My new OBGYNE that prescribed the clomid told me no I don't have to take progesterone unless problems occur. The clomid will regulate the progesterone. I don't no who to trust.

Hi, my RE had me take clomid on cycle days 3-7.  I had an IUI done and he ordered me to take progesterone supp. 1 day after IUI until my pregnancy was confirmed.  If we did not have the IUI I would have needed to take progesterone supp. 3 days after ovulation.  Progesterone is necessary during pregnancy so if your not producing it you may want to get a second opinion as to why your Dr. doesn't think you should have it.

i have been taking provera since 3/09 every day twice aday. Mt doctor said it was to stop the irregular bleeding. It work but now I want to know can I have a baby while taking this drug. He also told me that I was not ovulating at all. Do anyone know  what can make me ovulate. i want a baby badly.

ask your dr if clomid is right for you
