sleep crying and screaming

my grand daughter is 4 months old we have notice twice that she crys and screams while she is sleeping in our arms, her eyes are close and she screams as if someone is scaring her, this goes on for an hour, we walk with her , we rock her, theres no different she still screams, sometimes she stops for a few minutes and she starts again, does sleepcrying exist like sleep walking?

what does she see that scares her because at times this start her crying.

Is she maybe hungry?  My dd would do the same thing, and I would think "there is no way she could be hungry again" but she was, and it stopped when I started to give her the bottle instead of Breast Feeding. Is she being breast fed?

maybe she has gas pains? edward would start to scream out of nowhere when he was sleeping in his crib and it was a very painful scream that we attributed to trapped gas.
