I heard that starting off with excercise suddenly will prepone your chums. Not the otherwayaround.
Why don't you just do a preg test?

Once I started cross country I was extremely irregular (and still am).  I stopped running as far, but I still run about 2 miles a day, and I still am not regular.  THe dr thinks that is what caused problems in the past, and since I am starting to TTC, she suggested that I take it easy.  I love to work out though, but now I am just trying to only exercise for about a half an hour a day.  It's tough, but worth it.  My mom has been on me for years about it as well. You wouldn't think running two miles would do anything, but I guess everyone is different.  I have just tried to find other ways to exercise.

I also love to exercise.  I run five miles at a time about 3 times a week and then try to swim 1000 meters at a time a couple of times a week.  But I'm scared of overexercising while preg.  My doctor says there is no study out there that ties together miscarriages and exercising but he did tell me that I should stop "pounding the pavement" once I get my next BFP and that I should stick to swimming and biking.  This is for my peace of mind.

applelady_ware -- even when I was training for half marathons and running 10-13 miles at a time my cycle never got off.  I think it depends on the person.

That's funny because I seem to have the opposite effect.  When I exercise my cycle tends to be shorter.  That is awesome because it is normally about 45 days.  Anyone else experience this?

I started running in July and love it. i always thought that if you do intense exercise it would hurt your chances of becoming pregnant but when i talked to my DR she said that staying healthy and fit could help. That is why i started. I run about 3 miles a day 5xs a week. I'm hoping exercise helps my chances.
