trying to get pregnant

by carrot top, Oct 11, 2004 12:00AM
I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years now. I was late getting my period, so I took a pregnancy test and received inacurate data. A couple of days later, I received my period. It is lighter than my usual cycle. Could I still be pregnant?

What do you mean by inacurate data? Why dont you try taking another one or going to your doctor.

There is still a chance you could be pregnant. The same thing in the pass few days happened to me, It might be to early for you to tell. I myself was 2 weeks late took 2 tests and now have my period but its lighter then usual so I think you should let your period go and see your doctor after your done for another pregnancy test. Thats what I am going to do. I have to request a blood pregnancy test though i was told from 3 doctor's, and a few pharmicists because I'm a diabetic. I wish you the best of luck and hope you are pregnant because me and my husband having been trying for about 4 -5 years now. Trust me, I understand 100%. Raynebow

Thanks Rx81y77g024! I am glad someone else out there understands what I am going through. This whole trying to get pregnant thing can get very frustrating and discouranging. It took my aunt 10 years to get pregnant. She went to doctors and talked to fertility specialists. Nothing worked for her and the doctors also could not find anything wrong with her or her husband. She finally gave up on getting pregnant and it happened. So, there is hope and I wish you the best of luck as well.
