ttc... does ky really kill sperm?

Hello, I just read something about ky jelly killing sperm? is that true? Dh and I have just decided to start ttc again this month aftera mc in dec and I tend to be dry (sorry tmi) we use ky reg. is that bad? Does anyone have any suggestions of what we can use instead?

Actually I read it somewhere also if u are ttc,do not use lubricants as the sperm will not swim,so ye it may kill it,Best not to use it.Good Luck.

yeah, KY is not good lubricant for trying to conceive. i haveread on this forum that some women have used something called Preseed. not exactly sure if it's a lubricant or not but apparently it has helped some conceive. ask around on here for info on it. wish i could be of more help! good luck!

i just googled Pre-seed and it is a "sperm friendly lubricant." KY apparently hinders the sperm "swimming" and in some articles it even says it kills the sperm. hope that helps. google it if you want more info.

I use the liquid KY, you only need 1-2 drops on the outside of the vigina (vagina) . I don't like the KY jell at all, it's messy.
