tww! I have some questions, going crazy!!

Hello all,
Oh welcome to the tww! This is really hard. I am 8dpo and think I might go insane. I keep reading into every little thing that happens to me, extra CM, maybe a little headache, sore bbs. And I dont even know if I really am seeing and having these things.LOL. Anyways I have also been trying to chart my temps and have a question about temp. If my temps are still pretty low does that mean that this is not my month, when would you see a spike in temp if charting?

Also, is it too early to test, has anybody got BFP this early, even faint?

You should have already had an increase in temperature.  Right before you O you have a drop in temperature.  The day you O it increases dramatically and stays high until you either get your period or if you are pregnant.  If your temp stays high 18 days after you O than it is a good chance that you would be preggers.  Good luck, I've been ttc for almost 8 months now so I'm hoping for a BFP.

This is so cool. I am in the exact same boat as you. I am 8 dpo and going crazy. I have not taken any temps or anyhing. I just know when I ovulate because of SEVERE ovulaton pain. I just had a D&C for a blighted ovum on 6/29/06 and didn't even have an AF after that but I know I ovulated 7/24/06. I was told by my OB to wait 1-2 cycles to ttc but we didn't listen. I am just too anxious to get prego again. We did BD that evening even though I o'd earlier in the afternoon. I hope that wasn't too late because when I got pregnant in the past, we always BD'd a few hours BEFORE o instead of AFTER. I never test until AF is 1 day late so that will be next Tuesday. I have a little boob soreness,a lot of fatigue, and I got nauseaus this morning for the first time. I hope these are good signs even though they are also AF signs just a little early. First off, don't drive yourself crazy going over every little "symptom".  I know that's hard to do, but you can really convince yourself that you are pregnant and when you get that BFP it is even more devastating.  I speak from experience, b/c it took us 8 LONG months to conceive!  Some women do get a BFP at 8 DPO, but this is extremely rare.  Most women have to be late for AF until a test picks up hCG. IF you are charting, then save your $$$.  Your chart will tell you whether you are pregnant or not.  For me, my temps would always start to decline around 10-11 DPO.  Then they would be completely down at 15DPO, which is when AF would arrive.  When I conceived, my temp drop came at 11 DPO, but the next day it shot up to the highest it had ever been.  I took a test that day and sure enough, BFP!  The funny thing is, I wasn't really thinking I was pregnant that time.  I had many months where I was certain I had conceived, but that was not one of them.  As hard as it may be, just try to be patient.  BBT charting is really going to help you understand your cycle so stick with it.  Hopefully you won't have to do it for too long!

Oh, btw, your temp rises AFTER you O, not the day of.

The month that I concieved my temps were not that high the first couple days after ovulation and then slowly rose and then stayed up!!  I also got a positive with accuclear 4 days before my missed af.  There is a website you can visit called twoweekwait.com that is very helpful - goodluck!

OMG girl! we are in the same boat!!! reading your post was like describing myself and my situation....the only thing is that i had my DNC on 07/03 for the same reasons you had yours.
We didn't listen to the doctor either and bd every other day starting right after the 2 week wait after the DNC. I had EWCM last 26th and got my positive the 29, the last time we bd was 30th and that was it....im thinking maybe we should've bd for the last time last night......oh well.
