Sometimes if you exert yourself a bit too much, you might bleed a bit harder. If it becomes heavy or has clots, or if you are simply worried, you should let your MD know.
I agree with the previous posts... you might as well double check with your doc. After my c-section, I bled for a week with it tapering off near the end of the week, but then it picked back up again and got heavier for the next 10 days or so. When I called my doc, he said that as long as there weren't any large clots, I was ok (but it could be different for each individual).
after my c-section i bled quite a bit the first 4-7 days, then moderate to light for the next 3-4 weeks.
each women and each of her pregnancies/births are different...so there's no way to say if what you're experiencing is 'normal' or 'abnormal'
call your doc!
