vicodin and pregnancy HELP

by jazzy737, Oct 28, 2007 12:31PM
Hi, I have a big concern. I have been taking 3 vicodin a day due to headaches. Now i am 4 days away from a scheduled c-section and am worried sick about my baby withdrawling after shes born. What are the chances of that happening and would it be any better if i didnt take them the next for days and just suffered w/ the headaches?

You've known all along about the baby suffering from withdrawl symptoms and you wait till 4 days before you're ready to have her and now all of a sudden you're concerned?

You shouldn't stop the vicodin cold turkey. You have to wean yourself off slowly (although, 4 days is't enough time). You may be suffering from rebound headaches. It wouldn't be a bad idea to ask your doctor about this. Speaking of your doctor, what does he have to say about all of this?
