vicodin

by gigi5, Apr 05, 2008 04:52PM
im 5 months pregnant and i just found out my baby could have a club foot and i was wondering if anyone knows if taking one vicodin pill one time could have caused it?
i took one when i was 2 months pregnant at the hospital because i strained my back. the doctor told me it was a risk but i ddnt think taking just one would harm the baby at all.

I'm sorry and the thought of it I know is driving you crazy. If I had to bet my life on it I would have to say 1 pill could not do that...

I think it is pretty common for dr to prescribe vicodin during pg.  I'm sure it has proven to be safe for mother and baby.

I'm sorry but please try not to blame yourself.  Sometimes these things just happen. Just remember the most important thing is that she/he is healthy.

Take care
