what to expect at u/s

i have an u/s booked thursday 1 nov, my last period was 09/18 and i normally have a 33 day cycle,  i had pos hpt oct 23 so i am assuming i will maybe just at six weeks on thurs for u/s.  i have had 2 m/c this year and am petrified of having another i just wondered what u all saw at that date  many thanks

I know it's terribly scary. At my 6 weeks u/s we saw a sac, fetal pole and heart beat. BUT the h/b was slow (maybe just started) so don't be alarmed if you don't see a h/b yet! Good luck!

with my first successful pregnancy (no 4) we had a nearly scan at what i though was about 6 weeks and saw only the sac and yolk sac, pregnancy was written off as another blighted ovum for us, we were offered a d&c thre next day but due to history decided to wait, however a re-scan a week later picked up the heartbeat within seconds. i was put at 6 weeks on that scan. i have a dd now who is 2 and 8 months and a ds who is 14 months and am 26 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby now. try and remain positive if not much is seen as the previous post said 6 is still very early to see a heartbeat with everyone, good luck! keep us posted! :)

I was 7 weeks 6 days at my first u/s and we saw this little "blob" on the screen. We also saw the heartbeat. When you get further along, it's so cool to see the baby actually look like a baby!

thankyou sso much for your replies  part of my wants to ask for scan to be next week when there will be more chance of seeing something   but a bigger part cant be patient and a wanna c now
