bring a pillow, the hospital pillows are not very comfortable, and a boppy saved my life, i have my IV in until i left the hospital so it really helped when i nursed dd, if i tried without it, it pulled on the IV, congrats! and also i would bring baby wipes that kind of a "duh" answer, and youve probably got them packed already, but the hospital i was at had dry cloths that you got wet to change the baby, and that first poop is not very easy to get off! if this is you first then get ready for some tar diapers!  good luck tomorrow, hope everything goes smoothly

Packing the bag is the easy part. My advice is for the induction. Make sure you tell them early that you want the epidural. I was induced with both of my girls. I wanted to do it without painkillers, but induction, especially with pitocin makes it unbearable. I have a high tolerance for pain, but I couldn't take it. This time, it actually took them FOUR HOURS to get me the epidural. They gave me Demerol and Stadol to try to shut me up, and they did nothing for the pain. I literally woke up every 2-3 minutes form the narcotic fog, screaming my head off. So I say again, tell them early. You will need it whether you want it or not.

I also was induced with pitocin and had demerol at first.  Then 5 hours later FINALLY got the epidural.  It was horrible!!!
I had to get 3 epis though but when it finaly took, it was heavenly.
Good luck!
I was in hard labor for 13 hours but only had to push for 15....
