when must hcg be produced in order to be pregnant? is there an required time limit?

I'm not sure I understand your question: HcG is produced BECAUSE you are pregnant.You don't produce HcG in order to GET pregnant.

i was just wonderding when a women thinks she may be pregnant is their a certain time where hcg must be produced if the women is in fact pregnant? can hcg not be produced 2 weeks into a pregnancy?

Yes--if it has been 2 weeks since you ovulated and tried to conceive, if you were pregnant there should be enough HcG to show up as a positive on a pregnancy test.
I got a positive and I was about 12 days pregnant.
