wisdom tooth pain and pregnant

by MITORR, Aug 16, 2009 08:26PM
I am 9 weeks pregnant and my bottom left wisdom tooth seems to be trying to come in the rest of the way. Not only is it horrible pain its also infected which is making it worse. Its to the point that my ears, throat, and head will hurt. I plan on going to the dentist but is there something I can do to ease the pain for now so I can at least sleep? Anything that will help the infection go away quicker?

Tylenol might help.  I was living so cleanly during pregnancy that even such a mild pain reliever as that worked to some extent.  I would not wait even a day to go in --  tell the dentist it is an emergency.  You do not want an infection in your body at this time.
