Sorry--no one here can give you medical advice like that.  Ask your doctor for this specific info.

This concern should really be addressed by your doctor. Also, you should discuss WHEN it is safe to concieve again with your Doctor. There may be medical reasins why you should wait.

If the doctor says to take it, I would. I would also call and ask about the pregnancy thing. My cousin was on it the entire time she was preg and had no ill effects. But I would deffiantely contact your doc.

My sister was taking Zoloft while pregnant so I do not see why taking it now would be harmful.  If you were to get pg while on it stop taking it if you'd like.  I think getting pg again will help with the depression but in the meantime take the Zoloft. It really helped my siste out and she gave birth to a beautiful little girl in April.  It should not hurt a thing.  Hope this helps.

I don't know about Zoloft, but I do know that you shouldn't just stop taking antidepressants on your own.  In my opinion, you shouldn't do it ESPECIALLY when you're pregnant. Hormones already make you a little nuts when you're pregnant so you don't want to add to it.

I felt stable while I was pregnant.  However I suffered from some post partum depression after my son was born and I was put on Prozac which I am told is safe for nursing and pregnancy.

Definitely talk to your doctor!!!
