  I had an abortion on march 19 and had extream pain and cramping is this normal...still having a lil bit of pain
  and another question
  how soon after an abortion do you usually ovuilate?
  I dont wanna get pregnant again gonna use protection but just wanna know so i can stay away from those days

Termination procedures can be uncomfortable since they are typically are done under local anesthesia with sedation. Some cramping at this point would be expected but sharp pain (particularly on one side or another) is not normal.
Most abortion providers will do a followup examination 2-4 weeks post procedure--this would be a good time to have your concerns addressed.
My strong suggestion is that you start using contraception immediately if you are not planning pregancy. It simply is not predictable when ovulation will occur post-abortion.
